چکیده

Abstract SCAPS simulation was utilized to complement previously published perovskite-on-Si tandem solar devices and explore herein viable all-perovskite 4-T mechanically stacked 2-T monolithic non-Pb structures. CsSn 0.5 Ge I 3 (1.5 eV) used as top cell wide bandgap absorber, while CsSnI (1.3 chosen bottom low absorber. The simulated with AM 1.5G 1 Sun spectrum, the filtered spectrum from cell. To form a device, ITO recombination layer; current matching condition investigated by varying thickness of absorber layers. For current-matched device J sc 21.2 mA/cm 2 , optimized thicknesses 450 nm 815 were obtained for layers, respectively. At these thicknesses, PCEs cells 14.08% 9.25%, respectively, 18.32% final configuration. A much simpler fabricated on other hand, showcased 15.83% 9.15%, at layer 1300 900 nm, overall PCE 19.86%.

Investigation of the electronic properties of the recombination heterointerface in CGS/CIGS monolithic tandem solar cell

We have investigated, by means of numerical simulation, the possible nature of the recombination heterointerface in the monolithic CGS (top)/CIGS (bottom) tandem solar cell. The results show that current transport by tunnelling might be of less importance. On the other hand, a good recombination junction can be achieved by a formation of a semi–metal at the back contact. It is proposed that a t...

Perovskite solar cells: from materials to devices.

Perovskite solar cells based on organometal halide light absorbers have been considered a promising photovoltaic technology due to their superb power conversion efficiency (PCE) along with very low material costs. Since the first report on a long-term durable solid-state perovskite solar cell with a PCE of 9.7% in 2012, a PCE as high as 19.3% was demonstrated in 2014, and a certified PCE of 17....

Perovskite-perovskite tandem photovoltaics with optimized band gaps.

We demonstrate four- and two-terminal perovskite-perovskite tandem solar cells with ideally matched band gaps. We develop an infrared-absorbing 1.2-electron volt band-gap perovskite, FA0.75Cs0.25Sn0.5Pb0.5I3, that can deliver 14.8% efficiency. By combining this material with a wider-band gap FA0.83Cs0.17Pb(I0.5Br0.5)3 material, we achieve monolithic two-terminal tandem efficiencies of 17.0% wit...

Investigation of Indigo/thioindigo Tandem Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells

In this paper we used two free-metal organic dyes (dye 1 and dye 2) based on indigo and thioindigo with cyanoacrylic acid as the electron acceptor group. The proposed dyes were sensitized from naphalene as the starting material by standard reactions and characterized by different analytical techniques and UV-Visible spectroscopy after purification. Spectrophotometric measurements of the organic...
